Equinox 2025

The Spring Equinox brings us into the Second Quarter of the Solar Cycle. Like the Moon's phase, this is the time of greatest energy available to work toward your goals.

Like the Full Moon, Solar fruition comes at the peak of greatest light at Midsummer Solstice and then we shift into the Waning Light half of the Solar Year.

This year's Equinox occurs while both Venus and Mercury are retrograding in Aries and as we approach the Aries New Moon (on March 29th (6:58 a.m. EDT). It's not the time to start new things.

But the Aries rush of energy is coming but will be more visible after the New Moon which is also a Partial Solar Eclipse in 9 Aries, the degree where Mercury went retrograde and one degree from the degree of the retrograde of Venus.

Use these internalized reviews of thoughts, communications and values to receive messages about the significant change in the outer world that surrounds the Solar Eclipse and what it will mean for you.

Some of the change involves the planetary shifts for Neptune Uranus and Saturn (a first taste of the their longer transits before they retrograde). This gets underway the day after the Eclipse when Neptune enters Aries on Sunday the 30th at 8:00 a.m. EDT.

For the Southern Hemisphere, the light cycle is reversed and the darkest quarter of the Solar Year begins and peaks at your Midwinter.
