How many of us, if we are honest, are still carrying around things from our past OR our conditioning that create the limiting stories and narratives we continue to live out?
With the upcoming Mercury retrograde in Cancer, the invitation is to turn back to the past - to dive into the emotional body and really look at what is still lingering there that has perhaps become a liability.
Mercury will go to almost 27 degrees, putting it within orb of a square to Chiron in Taurus and an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius.
The evolutionary impulse and desire with Pluto in Aquarius is to be set FREE, and Pluto is the guiding force of this year's astrology.
Considering the ruling planet of Pluto in Aquarius, which is Saturn in Aries, we know this process of being set free requires self-honesty, accountability and integrity. We have to be real about how we are participating in our own enslavement.
Because Neptune is conjunct Saturn in Aries, part of this process of freeing ourselves requires FORGIVNESS. This is DOUBLY so with the North Node currently in Pisces.
This isn't about saying it was okay to be treated poorly, because it's NOT.
BUT we have to recognize how much personal power and wellbeing can be recouped by forgiving the deeds that were done in the name of ignorance and lower consciousness states.
With Mercury retrograde and Jupiter in Cancer, the invitation is to go back to something that already happened and retrieve the power or quality of self that was damaged or stayed frozen in time. Here, there is a sort of reclamation of the TRUE SELF.
Really feel into those places within that are stuck in bitterness, resentment, anger, frustration, fear, rage, sadness, bewilderment and how these things affect your moods, beliefs, perceptions, thoughts, narratives, expectations, behaviors, actions and choices. Is there resistance to letting go?
With Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius currently, there can be a powerful and overwhelming sense of self-righteousness, which can be a BIG obstacle to forgiveness and freedom.
Also, Chiron just moved into Taurus, which is a fixed sign that is very stubborn. So, there can be a lot of digging the heels in. Taurus, along with Cancer is very self-protective, BUT this defensive stance can get in the way of our true liberation and freedom.
Neptune in Aries conjunct Saturn is trying to melt and soften our defenses, fears, doubts and negative narratives, for our own sake and also for the sake of the larger collective evolution and healing.
Holding onto past pains, memories, narratives, habits, and grudges is only serving to keep suffering in place, which we are quickly realizing we cannot afford. We are starting to feel the weight of the unhealed collective pain body and it's just not sustainable anymore. The way we're doing life - the way we are relating to our pain, to self and others, has got to change.
Luckily, Uranus is now in the sign of Gemini - the shape shifter. We are all getting the license to CHANGE. Gemini helps us to write new narratives (Gemini is the writer) and consider new perspectives - ones that arent filled with fear, doubt, pessimism or bad memories/experiences from the past.
When you really look at the astrology as a whole, it really does feel like the Universe is conspiring to heal us, regardless of how things look on the surface. On a deeper level, you can clearly see we are on a sacred journey to reclaim the lost and BEST parts of ourselves, in order to come together again under a brotherhood of man, living with more fairness, peace, love, harmony and balance.
Neptune and Saturn in Aries wants you to prioritize your healing. Forgiveness (Neptune/NN in Pisces) is an essential part of this healing process. Pluto in Aquarius is breaking us out of stuck places (fixed signs on the chopping block) this year that keep us blocked, struggling and in lower states of consciousness, as he either squares or opposes some very important planets (Chiron, Jupiter, Mercury retrograde, Venus retrograde). Pluto is non-negotiable. His mantra is transform or die (aka, keep suffering).
Forgiveness really does seem to hold the medicine. AND we have to remember that forgiveness does not excuse the other person's behavior, but it prevents their actions from dictating your present peace and future happiness.
There is a part of yourself, which is your SPIRIT, that remains infinite and unbreakable. That is what Neptune in Aries is trying to get you to realize and embody.
We get to decide what/who has power over us more than we realize. What you avoid/run from within yourself, grows. What you perseverate on in a negative way also grows. Our habits eventually become our character, our Spirit.
So many of the transits and aspects this year invite a deep looking at the self. What is in there? What is controlling you? What fixed habits, past patterns and trauma/dramas are still alive and well within yourself? This is also the year that we really start seeing these things as liabilities that we just cannot afford AND doing something about it (Aries takes action!).
We are in a whole new cycle with Saturn and Neptune conjuncting at the 0 degree Aries point, which is all about a massive collective and personal reset. This requires a radical clearing out of everything that doesn't serve the new paths we are blazing.
Even if someone did do something unthinkable, cruel or heinous to you, carrying that burden... keeping it alive and well OR buried deep within, only serves to punish YOU, hurt YOU and prevents YOU from living a truly full happy life - living your Dharma.
With Jupiter in Cancer for almost a whole year now poised to go into Leo for a year, we are really growing from tending to the more childlike parts of self. AND the purpose of this tending is actually an unburdening.
We have layers upon layers of costumes and masks covering over our true selves. Our higher consciousness and Spiritual integrity is being abandoned because of how much we get pulled into the material world and all of its egoic, ancestral trauma dramas playing on repeat. We go deeper and deeper into pain, struggle and suffering the more we separate from God's will and guidance, attuning to the authorities (false gods) of this world who play on our deepest fears and insecurities. This is our enslavement and if we are honest, we know we are participants in our own misery.
Saturn in Aries is a very strong transit that will hold each and every one of us ACCOUNTABLE now for what we are experiencing and manifesting. NO ONE is going to be able to side-step the consequences of actions. Neptune was previously in Pisces for 14 long years - a time when running, hiding, escaping and denying were the go-to behaviors. A LOT of us made bad choices at that time and now the chickens are coming home to roost. NOT as a punishment, BUT as an opportunity to learn and to heal our ignorance and our past wounds so that we can all stand on higher ground.
This is why FORGIVENESS is so integral now. You have to decide - do you want to be right, justified and vindicated OR do you want to be free, unencumbered, and liberated from the weight of the past, limiting your present and future?
Jupiter will soon move into Leo, which rules the heart. In what ways is yours still hardened? Where do you need more forgiveness and a softening so that you can give and receive love more freely.
Venus will retrograde this fall in Scorpio, square Pluto. This is another heart opener as Venus is the planet of love and exchanging love in relationships. What is still in the way of this 2 way exchange? Where is your heart STILL stuck on past narratives, experiences and memories that create distortions and difficulties, keeping you stuck in looping ancestral patterns rooted in lower consciousness states?
We DO NOT have to keep playing in the same sandbox. AND in fact, with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, we are invited to create a whole new sandbox and be an example to others that things can be different.
Aries is calling for strong leaders to build (Saturn) new structures and ways of being that are aligned with the highest spiritual integrity (Neptune) - institutions that reflect a higher consciousness of love (Neptune) and wisdom (Saturn).
Its time to die to the ego so the Spirit can rise....
